Sampler Sized Scotch - Benromach 10Years Old (200ml)

Description

This "Sampler Size" is bigger than a minature but smaller than a full bottle giving you the chance to try out a new whiskey with friends or at your own pace.

Benromach is situated in the town of Forres on Speyside. It was originally founded in 1898, but was closed by its then owner United Distillers in 1983. The Distillery was saved by the Urquart family who also own the legendary independent malt whisky bottlers Gordon and MacPhail. They spent some time renovating the distillery and eventually reopened it in 1998 ? 100 years after the original opening. The 10 year old is quite complex and robust, fruit and nut flavours with some sherry influence. The casks used are 80% Bourbon and 20% Sherry Hogsheads (smaller sherry casks) with the last year of maturation in first fill Oloroso Sherry casks.
